Poplar Homes Philippines is looking for a UX Manager who will provide leadership to the product team (UX Designers, Researchers, and Writers) throughout the entire product development lifecycle, while at the same time, building and strengthening a world-class design class team that is passionate about disrupting the proptech space.

The UX Manager will:

Own overall end-to-end user experience across the entire product, from the big picture to the specifics of the feature
recruit, mentor, and nurture a highly engaged and passionate UX team.
Foster collaborative partnerships between design and other functions
Champion and promote design thinking, research, and processes within an agile organization
Working with the UX team leads to continuously improving methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria

Demonstrated success in creating a collaborative culture of design, engineering, and product
Passion and fervor for product design with deep knowledge of leading methodologies and practices
Outstanding ability to communicate design ideas to develop and product teams as well as to senior stakeholders
Proven methods and track record of success improving processes and communication through the product development lifecycle and across all levels
Proven ability to succeed in agile environments

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum of 4 years experience in UX and/or related field
1-year of management experience
Skilled in mentoring and growing teams of 6-10 people with a focus on participatory leadership and user-centric design
Experience in designing for a broad set of form factors and environments including web, desktop, and mobile
An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating relevant experience
